MAYA by Audio trak Your first step into the world of Professional Hard-Disk Recording. MAYA - A classic soundcard / audiocard featuring superb compatibility for your home studio. Unlike most regular soundcards, MAYA was designed with the musician in mind. Today's recording/sequencing applications and software synthesizers are extremely powerful. With soft synths and effects you can easily create a complete studio environment inside your PC. But with a typical soundcard you will have many problems. In most cases the latency is so high that you can't use software synths efficiently. Also, most regular soundcards only provide average audio quality; microphone inputs, for example, are often not usable for serious music production.ds ultra-low latency: 3ms at 44.1kHz using Steinberg's ASIO driver, and an exceptional 1.5ms using Cakewalk's SONAR. This is the simple solution for playing software synthesizers in realtime. Employing 20-bit DAC (digital-to-analog converters), 18-bit ADC (analog-to-digital converters) as well as RCA-connectors, the audio quality for a card in this price range is excellent. What this means is noise won't be an issue when using MAYA. A special feature is the included microphone preamp with phantom power.     The Maya is no longer available.
